DAILY PRAYERS for NOVEMBER

NOVEMBER PRAYERS

These Prayers are Synced with The Bible Companion - A System of Daily Bible Readings by Robert Roberts—for context those scriptures should be read first before reading these prayers!

Prayer November 1           2 Chronicles 30 .............. Daniel 10 ........................ Acts 10

O Lord, let me return to you, so that you may turn again to me. Help me that I am not faithless to the Lord God: nor let me be stiff-necked, but rather may I yield myself to you, O Lord. Now consecrate me to serve the Lord my God, that his fierce anger may turn away from me.

Help me to fear not, but rather set my heart to understand and humbled myself before you O God. Now hear my words and come to me Lord. Give me an understanding of what is to happen in these latter days.

Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit that was poured out even on the Gentiles. And thank you for baptism  in the name of Jesus Christ. These things I pray in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Prayer November 2           2 Chronicles 31 .............. Daniel 11 ........................ Acts 11-12

O Lord, may I do what is good and right and faithful before you, my God. And may every work that I undertake in your service be done in accordance with your will and your commandments. I seek you O Lord, that I may do what is in my heart for your kingdom. May I please you in all that I do.

I pray that when the prophecies of the end time by Daniel start to happen that you will seal me against the evils of that day. May I never exalt myself nor magnify myself O Lord. God forbid that I ever speak astonishing things against you.

Thank you for the baptism with the Holy Spirit. Never let me stand in God's way; but rather let me glorify you for having your way in my life. Thank you for delivering me from the prison of sin. Keep me in your care. In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.

Prayer November 3           2 Chronicles 32 .............. Daniel 12 ........................ Acts 13

O Lord, may I be strong and courageous, not afraid nor dismayed before the kings of this world and all the hordes that are with them, for there are more with me than with them. With evil is an arm of flesh, but with me is the Lord my God, to help me and to fight my battles. Now give me confidence to trust you, O Lord.

Daniel prophesied that Michael shall arise, the great prince who has charge of your people, to help your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. May I be numbered with the righteous and may my name found in the Lamb’s book of life, I pray.

Thank you for making your disciples a light for the Gentiles, and thank you that they brought salvation to the ends of the earth. And when I, a Gentiles, heard this, I began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord. Let me be appointed to eternal life for I have believed. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 4           2 Chronicles 33 .............. Hosea 1 ........................... Acts 14-15

O Lord, when I am in distress, I will entreat the favor of the Lord my God. I will humble myself greatly before the Lord God. Now I pray that you will be moved by my entreaty and hear my plea.

O Lord, forget not your mercy to forgive me. I pray that you never deny me; but rather let me be known as a Child of the living God.

Now strengthen my soul and help me to continue in the faith, through everything I must endure to enter the kingdom of God. Now with prayer and fasting I commit myself to the Lord in whom I had believed. Now God, who knows the heart, bore witness to me, by giving me the Holy Spirit just as he did to the disciples, having cleansed my heart by faith. I believe that I will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as the disciples were. I ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 5           2 Chronicles 34 .............. Hosea 2 ........................... Acts 16-17

O Lord, help me to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord, and walk in the ways of the Lord my God; and not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Betroth me to you in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love and in mercy—in faithfulness that I may know the Lord my God! And that you will know me; for you are my God!

Lord, help me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit—to know when I am forbidden to go or to speak and to hear you when you say, “Come.” Give us wisdom that I can reason with others from your Holy Word. I love your Word and I believe in the Lord Jesus, and I rejoice in you O Lord. To those that do not know you help me declare to them that you are the unknown God that they seek. Help me to proclaim your word to those that need to hear. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 6           2 Chronicles 35 .............. Hosea 3 ........................... Acts 18-19

Help me to contribute willingly to your people, O Lord. May all the service of the Lord be prepared day by day. Lord, I ask that I never find myself opposing you, so that you destroy me; but rather that I listen to your words and obey them!

May I seek the Lord my God, and come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in these latter days.

Now help me to be fervent in spirit and occupied with the word. Never let me silent; but rather let me keep speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus. Help me to be competent in your word, O Lord. May I be filled with the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 7           2 Chronicles 36 .............. Hosea 4 ........................... Acts 20

O Lord, keep me from ever doing what is evil in your sight. You have persistently sent your messengers to me, because you have had compassion on me. Thank you for your word from your ministers. May you, O Lord, always be with me.

Now help me to hear the word of the Lord, less you have a controversy with me. Help me to have faithfulness and steadfast love—serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me. I pray that I not be destroyed for a lack of knowledge; rather, keep me in your Word that you do not forget me. Never let me worship an idol—keep me from the idols of this world.

Let me not shrink from declaring to your people anything that is profitable, and teaching them in public and from house to house, testifying both to them of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  These things I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 8           Ezra 1-2 .......................... Hosea 5 ........................... Acts 21-22

O Lord, may you be with me. Give me a heart to help to build up your house, to contribute to your kingdom with freewill offerings and with my service.

May I pay attention, and give ear, for judgment is from you; discipline me in your love that I may serve you only. Never let my deeds keep me from returning to you, O Lord. Do not withdraw from me; but let me find you when I seek you. May I always be faithful to you.

Let me able to say with the apostle Paul that I am ready to be imprisoned and even die for the name of the Lord Jesus. I glorify you for all you have done for me. Now may I do all that is appointed for me to do. I seek to know your will and to see the Righteous One and to hear his voice. These things I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 9           Ezra 3-4 .......................... Hosea 6 ........................... Acts 23-24

O Lord, I will sing to you, praise you and give thanks to you. For you are good, and your steadfast love endures forever toward me. Let me build up your kingdom with others for I have part in you, Lord.

Come, let us return to the Lord; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. Revive me and raise me up to live with you, O Lord. I will press on to know you, Lord, in your fullness. I desire your steadfast love and knowledge of you above all else.

Now let me live my life before God in all good conscience up to the day I depart this life. But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the Lord God, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets, having a hope in God, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust. So may I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man. These things I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 10           Ezra 5-6 .......................... Hosea 7 ........................... Acts 25-26

I do not need the permission of others to work for you, O Lord. Now may the eyes of my God be on me that I never stop diligently doing the work you have for me.

I consider that you remember all of my evil and that my deeds surround me. I pray that they are covered by the blood of the Lamb of God. And that they are no longer before your face. I cry to you from my heart for your forgiveness.

Now let me do nothing opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth; but rather let all of my efforts be in building your kingdom. You were the first to rise from the dead. Now you proclaim light to your people, the Jews and to the Gentiles. Lord, I am your servant and your witness. Let me reflect your light! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 11           Ezra 7 ............................. Hosea 8 ........................... Acts 27

O Lord, I ask that you keep your hand on me. I have set my heart to study your laws and precepts, to do them and to teach them to others, according to the wisdom of my God, let me teach all who do not know your laws. Let me never forget my Maker; but rather help me to remember your steadfast love.

O Lord, I pray that I never become a useless vessel to you. Do not let me have multiplied altars of sinning; and I do not need laws by the ten thousands, I need your grace!

Lord I pray that I never pay more attention to the counsel of men than I do your word. I belong to you and I worship you O Lord. I am not afraid, for I stand in you. I have faith in God that it will be exactly as he has told me. Now walk with me as I walk with you. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 12           Ezra 8 ............................. Hosea 9 ........................... Acts 28

O Lord, I humble myself before you; for I know that the hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him. I will fast and implore my God that he will listen to my entreaties.

Lord I pray that my sacrifice of praise pleases you; and that you not only give me my daily bread, but that you will give bread for my soul from the house of the Lord.

May I never forsake my God; so that I may indeed hear and understand, and that I will indeed see and perceive. Never let my heart grow dull. Let me hear with my ears and see with my eyes and understand with my heart and turn, so that you will heal me. Thank you for sending this salvation of God to me—a Gentile; now again, help me to listen. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 13           Ezra 9 ............................. Hosea 10 ......................... Colossians 1

O my God, I am ashamed for the iniquities of my past that rose higher than my head, and my guilt mounted up to the heavens. Now favor has been shown to me by the Lord my God; for he has not forsaken me in my life, but has extended to me his steadfast love and abundant love—his grace!

Lord, help me to always acknowledge you as my king! Help me to sow for myself righteousness, so that I can reap steadfast love—his grace. Help me to break up my fallow ground, for it is time to seek you, O Lord, that you may come and rain righteousness upon me.

Help me to never cease to pray for others and myself, asking that all of us may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  Thank you God for you Son—Jesus for I pray these things in His name. Amen.

Prayer November 14           Ezra 10 ........................... Hosea 11 ......................... Colossians 2

O Lord, I resolve today to put away everything, that you reveal to me, that is not pleasing to you! Keep me that I never break faith with you, but do all according to the counsel of my Lord. Let me do all according to your will. Help me to  arise, for it is my task to please you, O Lord, may I be strong and do it.

You have loved me, and taught me to walk; you have taken me up by my arms, and healed me. You have led me with cords of kindness and with the bands of love, you have eased the yoke on my jaws, and bent down to me and fed me. Thank you Lord for caring for me!

With Christ I died to the elemental spirits of the world, so why, as if I was still alive in the world, do I submit to regulations—Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch (referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings? These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh. O Lord, only the Holy Spirit can help me refrain from things of the flesh. Now keep me in You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 15           Nehemiah 1-2 ................. Hosea 12 ......................... Colossians 3-4

O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you. So now strengthened my hands for the good work. Help my work to be good for I know you will judge me according to my ways; you will repay me according to my deeds.

So now help me God to hold fast to love and justice, and to wait continually for you, O Lord.

Now I seek the things that are above, and set my mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For I have died, and my life is hidden with Christ in God. I believe that when Christ who is my life appears, then I also will appear with him in glory. Help me to continue steadfast in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. And when it comes time for me to speak, may you make it clear, how I ought to speak. Now may I walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let my speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that I may know how I ought to answer each person. These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 16           Nehemiah 3 .................... Hosea 13 ......................... 1 Thessalonians 1-2

Lord, help me to work with others to build up your house and to build up a wall of defense against the enemy of my soul. I need your help O Lord.

O Lord, you are the Lord my God. I know no God but you; for besides you there is no Savior. You knew me in the wilderness, in the land of drought; let not my heart be lifted up; and let me never forget you.

I give thanks to God always for all of my brothers and sisters, constantly mentioning them in our prayers, remembering before my God and Father their work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For I know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen us, because his gospel came to us not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. And I also thank God constantly for this, that when I received the word of God, I accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in me; for I am a believer. Let me become an imitator of Christ Jesus as I press forward. These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 17           Nehemiah 4 .................... Hosea 14 ......................... 1 Thessalonians 3-4

O Lord, give me a mind to work! Help to overcome those that plot against me. May I always remember the Lord, who is great and awesome. Let me keep an eye out for the enemy of my soul.

O Lord, help me to return to the Lord my God, for I have stumbled because of my iniquity. Take away all of my iniquity; accept what is good, and I will pay with my sacrifice of praise the vows of my lips.

Now may the Lord make me increase and abound in love for others, as I do for him, so that he may establish my heart blameless in holiness before my God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. Finally, then, I ask that as I received from your servants how I ought to walk and to please God, just as I am doing, that I do so more and more. For I know what instructions I have been given through the Lord Jesus. For this I know is the will of God, for my sanctification: that I know how to control my own body in holiness and honor, that I do not transgress and wrong my brother in any matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as I have been told beforehand and have solemnly been warned. For God has not called me for impurity, but in holiness. I know that whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to all.  These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 18           Nehemiah 5-6 ................. Joel 1 .............................. 1 Thessalonians 5

O Lord, help me that I am never afraid of what others say about me. I fear you only, Lord. Help me to be wise to the devices of the enemy and not be hindered in my work for you.

O Lord, help me to tell my children of your grace, and let my children tell their children, and their children to another generation the goodness of the Lord our God. And of his steadfast love for us.

Now help me to respect those who labor among us and are over us in the Lord and admonish us, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. May we be at peace among ourselves. Help me to   encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all. Help me to always seek to do good to others and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us. May I not quench the Spirit nor despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good and abstain from every form of evil. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 19           Nehemiah 7 .................... Joel 2 .............................. 2 Thessalonians 1-2

Lord, help me to be a faithful and God-fearing man. Now set a guard over my soul; for I know that the day of the Lord is coming; it is near.

I know that the day of earthquakes, a day when the heavens tremble, a day when the sun and the moon are darkened and the stars do not shine is nearer to us than ever before. The day of the Lord is great and very awesome. Help me to endure until the end, O Lord.

May I  always give thanks to God for my brothers, as is right. Help my faith to grow abundantly, and may my love for all increase. Give me love, steadfastness and faith in all of my afflictions that I may endure. Thank you Lord that you chose me to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called me through the gospel preached to me so that I may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now help me to stand firm and hold to the traditions that were taught to me, either by the spoken word or by Apostle Paul’s letters. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 20           Nehemiah 8 .................... Joel 3 .............................. 2 Thessalonians 3

O Lord, give us understanding and help us to be attentive to your word; that the word be read from the Bible clearly and help me that someone will make it clear to me so that I understand the reading. Then may I proclaim your word and publish it for all to see.

Lord help me to prepare myself for that day when you gather all the nations and you enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of your people and your heritage. Then your people will dwell on the new earth and the Lord my God will dwell in Zion,

Lord let your word speed ahead and be honored. And may I be delivered from wicked and evil men. For you are faithful and will establish me and guard me against the evil one. Now help me to continue in the faith and not grow weary in doing good. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 21           Nehemiah 9 .................... Amos 1 ........................... 1 Timothy 1-3

O Lord, You are the Lord, you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you. You are my God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God. Today I worship you!

You punish those that break covenant with you. And bring judgment on those that transgress against your people. Help me that I never break covenant with you.

May I never listen to a different doctrine, nor to devote myself to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. The aim of your charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Help me that in every place that men should pray, I lift up my hands without anger or quarreling; for great indeed, I confess, is the mystery of godliness. He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. Now may I live in such a way that you will receive me unto yourself in your kingdom.  These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 22           Nehemiah 10 .................. Amos 2 ........................... 1 Timothy 4-5

O Lord, help me to walk in God's Law, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord my Lord and obey his rules and his statutes.

Lord I pray that I never reject your laws and fail to keep your statutes. Do not let the lies of the enemy lead me astray. Let me be diligent to obey you.

The Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. I pray that I will always let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. I pray that I will always keep those things that you have charged me to do without prejudging and I pray that I never do anything from partiality. Keep me from sinning—and never let me partake of others sins. May I always abide in your Word, O Lord. These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 23           Nehemiah 11 ................... Amos 3 ........................... 1 Timothy 6

Lord, help me to willingly live where you would have me to live. And to willingly do what you would have me to do that I might please you.

Forgive me of all my iniquities; so that I may walk together with you. Lord I believe that you do nothing without revealing your secrets to your servants—the prophets. Thank you for your prophets.

Teach me all things. Let me not listen to a different doctrine that does not agree with the sound words of my Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness. Let me avoid controversy and quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, and constant friction among your people. Help me to realize that godliness with contentment is great gain, for I brought nothing into the world, and I cannot take anything out of the world; but if I have food and clothing, with these I will be content. Now keep me for your return. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 24           Nehemiah 12 .................. Amos 4 ........................... 2 Timothy 1

O Lord, I rejoice today for you have made me rejoice with great joy; let my joy be heard far away. Let me always be ready to give thanks to you and to praise you.

Lord I pray that I will always help the poor and lift up the needy. O Lord you formed the mountains and created the wind and you declare to man his thoughts. You tread on the heights of the earth. You are the Lord. The God of hosts is your name!

Help me to never be ashamed of the testimony about my Lord; but rather be willing to share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved me and called me. Not because of my works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave me in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of my Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. Thank you for life and immortality. Keep me in your grace. In Jesus’ name I pray.  Amen.

Prayer November 25           Nehemiah 13 .................. Amos 5 ........................... 2 Timothy 2

O Lord, remember me and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God and for his service and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love..

Lord I seek you that I might live; for you are life! O Lord you made the constellations and you turn deep darkness into morning, then darkens the day into night, you are the Lord my God.

Now help me to be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what I have heard from your Word. Help me to be a good soldier of Christ Jesus; and not get entangled in civilian pursuits, but rather let me please the one who enlisted me—Jesus Christ my Lord. I ask for understanding in everything. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 26           Esther 1 ........................... Amos 6 ........................... 2 Timothy 3-4

O Lord, help me to love my wife as you have loved me and for her to give honor to her husband as pleases you. Most of all, help us to love you with a love that consumes us.

Never let me be at ease in Zion, nor feel secure on your mountains; for you judgments come upon all who deny you and turn to other gods.

I understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Help me that I will not be guilty of those things and to avoid such people. For you—Christ Jesus, will judge the living and the dead, and by your appearing and your kingdom. Help me to hear those who preach the word; who are ready in season and out of season to reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. Now help me to endure sound teaching, not having itching ears so that I accumulate for myself teachers to suit my own passions, causing me to turn away from listening to the truth and wandering off into myths. Now may I always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work you have assigned me so that I fulfill my ministry. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer November 27            Esther 2 ........................... Amos 7 ........................... Titus 1-3

O Lord, may I find grace and favor in your sight. And may the deeds that I do that please you be recorded in the chronicles in heaven.

Show me how I can measure up to your will—plumb with your plumb line. Never let me be insubordinate, be an empty talker or deceiver.

I thank you that the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, you saved me, not because of works done by me in righteousness, but according to your own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom you poured out on me richly through Jesus Christ my Savior, so that being justified by his grace I might become an heir according to the hope of eternal life. The saying is trustworthy, and I want to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. Help me avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. These things I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prayer November 28           Esther 3-4 ....................... Amos 8 ........................... Philemon 1

O Lord, may I not keep silent at this time. I pray for relief and deliverance for those that are repressed. Help me to seek deliverance for your people even if I perish.

You declare that you will send a famine on the land—not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. Though I should wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; and run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord, I shall not find it. Let me hide your Word in my heart against that famine.

Increase my love and the faith that I have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of my faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. Help me to find joy and comfort from my love for my brothers. And may the hearts of others be refreshed through me by your grace. These things I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer November 29           Esther 5-6 ....................... Amos 9 ........................... Hebrews 1-2

O Lord, honor those who are among us that are due honor. Now restore the fortunes of your people. Plant them in your land, where they shall never again be uprooted.

Lord, I know that no one that is due your wrath can hide from you. Though they dig into Sheol, or climb up to heaven, or hide from site in the bottom of the sea, you will find them and punish them. Thank you Lord that you have saved me from the wrath to come!

I know that long ago, at many times and in many ways, you spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days you has spoken to us by your Son, whom you appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Therefore I must pay much closer attention to what I have heard, lest I drift away from it. For since the message declared by angels proved to be reliable, and every transgression or disobedience received a just retribution, how shall I escape if I neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. Thank you Lord for these things. I ask that you keep me in-Christ. I ask for this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer November 30           Esther 7-8 ....................... Obadiah 1 ......................... Hebrews 3-5

When intercession is made to the King of Glory for his people, his edicts bring light and gladness and great joy to his people.

If my heart is not right before you, O Lord, though I soar like an eagle and my nest be among the stars you will bring me down. I pray that I am never haughty nor arrogant towards the Lord my God!

O Lord, you are the apostle and high priest of my confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God's house. For you—Jesus have been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.) Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope. Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of us should seem to have failed to reach it. Now help me to be mature that I may partake of solid food.
