[Exaltation and Worship]
Majestic and Sovereign God I come to worship and praise you today for you alone are holy, holy, holy and you alone are worthy of my worship and praise! Hallowed be thy name. I worship you as creator for it is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing [was] too hard for you. Jeremiah 32:17 You “established the world by your wisdom and by you understanding stretched out the heavens… Jeremiah 51:15 O Lord! You pilot the earth safely through its orbit—avoiding collisions with other objects of your creation that could destroy us.
Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now [I] thank you, [my] God, and praise your glorious name… For all things come from you, and of your own have [I] have given [back] to you… I know, my God that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness… O Lord… keep forever such purposes and thoughts in [my] heart… and direct [my] heart toward you.
