Pray the Word

[Prayer for Self]

Majestic and Sovereign God, it’s me again! I’ve come to worship and praise you today for you alone are holy, holy, holy and worthy of my worship and praise and to again ask for your help!

Every day I must talk to You!  For everyday I need grace and Your help!  I know you hear me!  Through all the sounds of your creation—the universe—planets spinning—stars exploding—and the crackling of suns on fire don’t drown me out.  You hear me for You have said “Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear. Isaiah 65:24 I know you say in your Word…who with his hand has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth… I Kings 8:15

Now hear my prayer and supplications O Lord.  I pray that God may make me worthy of His calling and fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith. II Thessalonians 1:11 I ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Colossians 1:9 That I may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:10 I pray that no one takes me captive by philosophy and empty deceit… Colossians 2:8 So that my faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. I Corinthians 2:5  Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my borders, and that your hand might be with me and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain. I Chronicles 4:10 Direct my heart to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. II Thessalonians 3:5

Now I thank you Lord that you have added another day to my life. Do not “cut the thread of my life” Jeremiah 51:13 until I lead the life that you have assigned to me, and [fulfill the purpose] to which you have called me. I Corinthians 7:17 Grant me to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, Ephesians 3:16 so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith—that I, being rooted and grounded in love, Ephesians 3:17 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breath and length and height and depth Ephesians 3:18 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:19

Now help me put off my old self… Ephesians 4:22 and to be renewed in the spirit of my mind. Ephesians 4:23 and to put on the new self, created in the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24 and to walk in love… Ephesians 5:2 and as a child of light. Ephesians 5:7  Help me to be free from anxieties. I Corinthians 7:32  …Help me  learn in whatever situation I am to be content, Philippians 4:11 to learn the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need Philippians 4:12 How to deny myself and take up His cross and follow You O Lord. Matthew 16:24 I was dead in my transgressions, but God made me alive together with Him, having forgiven me all my trespasses, Colossians 2:13 by canceling the record of debt that stood against me with its legal demands… Colossians 2:14

Your eyes are open to all the ways of the children of man, rewarding each according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds. Jeremiah 32:19 You have plans for me O Lord—for I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 O Lord, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, help me think about these things. Philippians 4:8 Now give me wisdom that only comes from you—so that I might understand the mysteries of God and that this understanding will lead to a saving knowledge of you, O Lord!

Now to the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God be honor and glory forever and ever Amen. I Timothy 1:17
