FEBRUARY PRAYERS

These Prayers are Synced with The Bible Companion - A System of Daily Bible Readings by Robert Roberts—for context those scriptures should be read first before reading these prayers!

Prayer February 1               Exodus 5-6 ..................... Psalms 58-59 .................. Romans 10-11

O Lord! I am thankful that you promised to deliver your people from bondage—from slavery of the enemy. I am thankful that you establish covenant with your people—that you have redeemed me with an outstretched arm. Thank you for freedom in the Holy Spirit.

Even though you are God Almighty, you have made yourself known to me as Lord. I will sing of your strength and your steadfast love at the beginning of every day. And for this I will praise you; for you have been a fortress and a refuge for me in my day of distress.

I am glad that your word is near me—in my heart and in my mouth. I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead. I believe with my heart so that I may be justified and confess with my mouth that I may be saved. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this and I give thanks for all of your blessings. Amen.

Prayer February 2             Exodus 7-8 ..................... Psalms 60-61 .................. Romans 12

Thank you, O Lord, that even those who are against you know that you are the Lord when you stretch out your hand against them. You show them that you are able to bring out your people from among them. O Lord!  Help me to always recognize the finger of God—to see your handiwork in all creation and in all your actions. Help me to never harden my heart but be submissive to your will.

Let me dwell in your tent forever and take refuge under the shelter of your wings. Lord, you have heard my vows and my pleas and you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. I will ever sing praises to your name, as I perform my vows to you day after day.

I present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you—my spiritual worship. Help me to never conform to this world, but to be transformed as I renew my mind.  Teach me to test my thoughts so that I may discern what is your will—what is good, acceptable and perfect! In Jesus’ name I ask for all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 3               Feb 3 ........... Exodus 9 ......................... Psalms 62-63 .................. Romans 13-14

O Lord!  I have sinned; your way is right and I am wrong when I do not stay in your will. Help me to be obedient to your word so that your judgments do not fall on me. Help me to fear the word of the Lord and to take action that shows I fear you!

I earnestly seek you; you are water for my soul and strength for my flesh. I have beheld your power and glory. Your love is better than life!  I praise you and bless your name. As long as I live I will lift up my hands to your name and praise you with my lips; for you satisfy my soul as nothing else can. My soul thirsts for you. Never leave my memory; but help me to meditate on you; for you have been my help. In your presence I will sing for joy; for my soul clings to you. Your right hand holds me up!

Lord, help me to welcome my brothers but not to quarrel over opinions; for only your Word matters. Help me refrain from judgment of others for I am not their masters. Increase my faith; for whatever does not proceed from faith is sin. So let me pursue what makes for peace and mutual upbuilding. Forgive my every sin. In Jesus’ name I ask all of these petitions and blessings. Amen.

Prayer February 4               Exodus 10 ....................... Psalms 64-65 .................. Romans 15-16

O Lord! Help me to tell my children and my children’s children about the signs and wonders you have done among your people so that all may know that you are Lord. Keep me from gross darkness I pray today.

You have answered my petitions with righteousness and awesome deeds. You are the hope of all the earth and its inhabitants. Help me to be strong; to bear with my failings when I am weak and help me to not seek to please myself but to help others.

Let me please my neighbor for his good, to build him up. I know that all that is written in your word is for my instruction, to encourage me and help give me endurance. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant me to live in harmony with others, in accord with Christ Jesus, that I may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 5               Exodus 11-12 .................. Psalms 66-67 .................. Mark 1

O Lord! Apply your blood to the doorposts and lintel of the door to my heart; so that when you see the blood you will pass over me and I will be saved from eternal death. Let me always remember that you deliver your people from bondage. Then you do not forsake me but lead me with your presence.

Let everyone see what God has done. He is awesome in his deeds toward the children of men. May you, O Lord, be gracious to me, bless me, and make your face shine upon me; that your way may be known on all the earth and your saving power among all nations. Let everyone everywhere praise you!

Help me to preach the same message that you, O Lord, proclaimed—the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. Let me follow you and become fishers of men. In Jesus’ Holy name I ask for all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 6             Exodus 13-14 ................. Psalms 68 ....................... Mark 2

O Lord! Let me remember the day you brought me out of slavery to sin. Let it be as a sign on my hand, as a memorial between my eyes and keep your word in my mouth for with a strong hand you have delivered me. Help me to never fear but rather to stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord. Help me to remember that you will fight for me if I will only be silent.

In your goodness you have provided for me. Blessed be my Lord, who daily bears me up. You are my salvation that delivers me from death. The kingdoms of the earth sing to you. To you I ascribe power and majesty.

I am so glad that you came to call sinners to repentance—and brought healing to those who needed a physician. Thank you for forgiving my sins. You are Lord of all—even the Sabbath. Help me to enter into your rest. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer February 7               Exodus 15 ....................... Psalms 69 ....................... Mark 3

O Lord! You are my strength and my song; you have become my salvation. You are my God and I will praise and exalt you! For who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds! You lead in your steadfast love your people whom you have redeemed. You will guide them by your strength to your holy abode. I will magnify you with thanksgiving and praise.

O Lord, you know the wrongs I have done; for they are not hidden from you. Forgive me I pray. Let not the flood sweep over me or the deep swallow me up, or the pit close its mouth over me. Now turn to me O Lord with your steadfast love and your abundant mercy. Hide not your face from me I pray. My heart is revived when I remember that you hear the needy and do not despise your people who are prisoners. Let the zeal for your house consume me.

Lord help me to seek you for who you are! Help me to do the will of God; so that you can say of me that I am your brother.  In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 8               Exodus 16 ....................... Psalms 70-71 .................. Mark 4

O Lord! You are my meat and my bread. I am filled with your provision. I know that you are the Lord my God. Let me always do as you have commanded. Thank you Lord for the spiritual bread from heaven. Now may I always find an abundant supply.

May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; for you are my help and my deliverer. In you I take refuge; your righteousness delivers and rescues me. Hear me O Lord and save me. You are my rock and my fortress to which I continually come. My praise is continually of you. Do not cast me off in my time of old age and when my strength is spent; O God, be not far from me. Help me I pray.

I pray today Lord that you will give to me the secrets of the kingdom of God that I may see and perceive, that I may hear and understand that I may turn to you and be forgiven! Now O Lord, give the command to save me and let me go across to the other side safely with you!  In Jesus’ name I ask for all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 9               Exodus 17-18 ................. Psalms 72 ....................... Mark 5

O Lord! You bring water from the rock when I am thirsty. I thirst for you, O God. Help me to fear God, to be trustworthy and to hate a bribe. Help me to do what is right in your sight and what is acceptable that I might endure and have peace.

May the kings of the earth fall down before you and all nations serve you; for you deliver the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. You have had pity on me and delivered me from oppression. Blessed be your glorious name forever. May the whole earth be filled with your glory.

Help me to be a witness to my friends—tell them how much you have done for me; and how you’ve had mercy on me. May I seek to touch you; for I know that I will be healed. Now help me to fear not but to only believe. In Jesus’ name I ask for all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 10               Exodus 19-20 ................. Psalms 73 ....................... Mark 6

O Lord! I have seen your handiwork—and I have read what you did to the Egyptians and how you bore your people on eagles’ wings and brought them to yourself. Help me to obey your voice and keep your covenant; so that I can be among your treasured people.

Help me keep my heart pure; for you are good to those who are pure in heart. You guide me with your counsel. When this life is over you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? There is nothing on earth that I desire but you. Now establish my steps. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

You have compassion on me for I am like a sheep without a shepherd. Now teach me your ways, I pray. Let me find a place of prayer as you did. Help me have a gift of discernment. Let me remember that you feed people and calm storms. May I always give thanks to you for your provision! In Jesus’ name I pray all of this prayer. Amen.

Prayer February 11               Exodus 21 ....................... Psalms 74 ....................... Mark 7

O Lord! In days of old when a servant did not want to leave his master’s house, he was marked with a mark to show that. Mark me today I pray for I do not want to leave your house, O Lord.

O Lord, remember your congregation which you have purchased—which you have redeemed to be your heritage! You have worked salvation in the midst of the earth. To you belongs the day and the night; for you established the heavenly lights and the sun. You have fixed the boundaries of the earth and given it seasons. Even before I were born you made provision for my protection. You have always cared for me; now I ask you to help me keep the covenant of grace. I remember that where there is no regard for your covenant there is violence. Keep me from violence, I pray.

Lord, help me to honor you with my lips. Keep my heart near to you, I pray. Let not my worship be in vain. And help me to avoid the doctrines and commandments of men. Never let me leave your commandments. Help me to guard my heart and my thoughts so that I will not be defiled. I praise your name. In Jesus’ name I give thanks praise and worship. Amen.

Prayer February 12               Exodus 22 ....................... Psalms 75-76 .................. Mark 8

O Lord, help me to never wrong any person or persons in any of my dealings with them. But rather help me to keep your precepts, rules, laws, statutes, and commandments. Now I concentrate myself to you today, O Lord. Hear my prayer I pray.

I give thanks to you, O God; for your name is near to me. I recount your wondrous deeds. Glorious are you, and more majestic than anything on earth. You are to be feared, for who can stand before you when your anger is aroused? You arose to establish judgment, to save all of the humble on earth. I know that you are a righteous judge and that you keep the earth and all its inhabitants in your hands. I will make my vows to you, O Lord my God. And I will perform them, for you are to be feared.

I know that there is nothing I can give in exchange for my soul. Help me to never be ashamed of you. May I proclaim your name and your righteous to this adulterous and sinful generation. I pray that you will not be ashamed of me when you come in the glory of your Father with the holy angels. In Jesus’ name I pray for all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 13               Exodus 23 ....................... Psalms 77 ....................... Mark 9

O Lord! Keep me from spreading false reports and help me to never join hands with the wicked. Help me to stand for justice and to not show partiality. Help me to never pervert justice nor oppress a stranger. May I always keep your Sabbaths. Let me always give you my first-fruits. Help me to obey your voice and do all that I say so that you will be an enemy to my enemies. I know if I serve you then you will bless my bread and my water.

I will cry aloud to God and he will hear me. In my day of trouble I will seek the Lord. Let me remember your song in the night. You are the God who works wonders. With your arm you redeemed me. Your way may seem hard; but you will make a way—even through a sea. I remember your deeds O Lord—your works. Help me to ponder your works and mighty deeds; for you are holy. There is no god like you, O Lord.

Lord, I believe that Jesus is your beloved Son and that I must listen to him. I believe that all things are possible for one who believes. Help me to never desire to be first; but rather to be last of all and servant of all. Let me show humility. May I never cause a little one to sin nor allow a member of my body to offend you. Now help me to have salt in my self and peace with others. In Jesus’ name I ask for all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 14               Exodus 24-25 ................. Psalms 78 ....................... Mark 10

O Lord! He me to do all that you have spoken—to be obedient. I pray that you will dwell within me. Meet with me above your mercy seat. Speak to me and give me your commandments, I pray. Help me to keep covenant with you, O Lord.

May I incline my ears to the words of your mouth. Help me to never hide the words of your teachings from my children; but to tell them to the coming generation, our children’s children. I will tell them your glorious deeds, your might and the wonders that you have done, O Lord. Never let me forget your works and wonders. In times past man ate the bread of angels; you sent them food in abundance. Today you are still my provision. Now help my heart to be steadfast toward you O God; and help me to be faithful to your covenant. Remember I am but flesh—help me become increasingly spiritual. Let me see your glory and your majesty—to behold your face when this life is over. I offer true praise with my mouth and exalt you with my tongue.

Let me become humble and acceptable to your will—to receive your kingdom like a child. Help me to sell and give to the poor and take up my cross and follow you—to forsake houses and kindred for your sake and for the gospel. Let me forsake all and follow you—for in you is eternal life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer February 15               Exodus 26 ....................... Psalms 79-80 .................. Mark 11

O Lord! Help me to obey your instruction just as Moses did when he was building the tabernacle. Let me be diligent to follow the patterns that you give me for my life; for I am your tabernacle today.

Forgive and do not remember my iniquities but let your compassion come to me for I am brought very low. Help me, O God of my salvation, for the glory of your name delivers me, and atones for my sins. For your name’s sake restore me. O God, let your face shine on me that I may saved. Turn again, O God of host! Look down from heaven and see; have regard for this vine—this branch that you have grafted in.

Increase my faith and let me know that that whatever I ask in prayer I have already received if I believe. Help me to always remember and use the key to forgiveness by our heavenly Father—the key is to forgive others. In Jesus’ name I ask all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 16               Exodus 27 ....................... Psalms 81-82 .................. Mark 12

O Lord! May your pure oil in my lamp alway burn! O Lord! Help me that I never profane your name. Help me that all of my offerings are acceptable to you. Let all of my sacrifices be to you alone—there is no other God. Help me to keep your commandments and do them. For you are the Lord who sanctifies me.

I will sing aloud to God, my strength, and I will shout for joy to my God! Help me to listen to you and to walk in your ways. When I open my mouth, fill it with your words O Lord. Give justice to the weak and fatherless; and maintain the right of the afflicted and destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy. Give me knowledge and understanding that I may walk in your light even when the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Help me to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s. Help me to love you with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength; and to love my neighbor as myself. Now help me to beware of those who practice traditions of men. And to give back to you liberally. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Prayer February 17               Exodus 28 ....................... Psalms 83-84 .................. Mark 13

O Lord!  I pray that I am on the heart of my high priest and that he will bear the judgment of your people before God. O Lord, everything that Moses made according to your patterns and then concentrated it according to your instructions, you made it holy. Now concentrate me when I have obeyed you instructions so that I, too, may be made holy before you.

O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God. May we know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth. Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to you. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in your house than to dwell in a castle of wickedness; for the Lord God is a sun and shield. I thank you for your favor and honor. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you. Help my trust in you to be total, to be unadulterated.

In your word you tell us “when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished.” Help me to be able to read the signs of the end of time that I may be prepared and help others. Help me to be ready, to watch and pray for the coming of the Son of Man. My prayer is that I will be on guard and that I will be awake when you return. Help me to stay awake!  In Jesus’ name I ask for all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 18               Exodus 29 ....................... Psalms 85-86 .................. Mark 14

O Lord, wash me with water, clothe me with righteousness, apply your blood to me so that I can be concentrated and holy before you. Meet with me and speak to me O Lord. I know that you are the Lord my God and that you have delivered me from the slavery of sin.

O Lord, you have forgiven my iniquity and covered all of my sin. You have restored me, O God of my salvation, and put away your indignation toward me. You show me your steadfast love and granted my salvation. You have spoken peace to me. When your steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness must be found in me for righteousness to look down from the sky. You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Now give ear to my prayer, O Lord, and listen to my plea for grace. Answer me in my day of trouble. Teach me your truth so that I may walk in your ways.

O Lord! You are the bread of life. Your word is my bread. I am thankful that your blood covers all of my sins. Help me to never deny you in any way or forsake you. For in you only do I have hope. Meet with me and sanctify me with your glory. Help me to be faithful –and to put on your righteousness. Your righteous footsteps are my path to follow. Thank you for the gift of your Son! I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heard, and I will glorify your name forever. In Jesus’ name I ask for all of these things. Amen.

Prayer February 19               Exodus 30 ....................... Psalms 87-88 .................. Mark 15-16

O Lord! I pray today that you will meet me at the mercy seat—give me grace today, your steadfast love and tender mercy. Let us daily offer the incense of prayer to you, O God. Anoint me today with your anointing oil of the Holy Spirit

All of my springs are in you, O Lord. O Lord God of my salvation let my prayers come before you, incline your ear unto my cry. Lord, I call to you daily, I have stretched out my hands to you; for I know the dead shall arise again and praise you. Do not hide your face from me, I pray. You are my ransom! Do not cast me away from your presence; I am helpless but faith in you is my hope.

Thank you for drinking the cup that the Father gave you to drink; and for redeeming me on the cross. Truly you are the Son of God. Thank you for the words of the angel that was keeping watch in your empty tomb. “He is risen. He is not here.” That is my hope. Keep me in your holy will. In Jesus’ name I ask for all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 20           Exodus 31-32 ................. Psalms 89 ....................... 1 Corinthians 1-2

O God, fill me with your Spirit, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge of the work you have for me. Help me to keep your Sabbaths, O Lord. Keep me from the worship of idols; but rather let me delight in your commandments.

O Lord! I sing of your mercies forever. For you are merciful. With my mouth I will make known your faithfulness. You are ruler over all, even the waves of the seas. The heavens and the earth are yours. Mercy and truth goes before your face. Help me to walk in the light of your countenance. Forgive my every sin and blot not my name from your book; but rather help me to exult in your name for you are the glory of my strength.

I am enriched by you, O Lord. The preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation. Thank you for salvation. I pray that the Spirit of God will teach me all of your truth; that I might understand the things freely given me by God. Not from the wisdom of man but from you do I seek the interpretation of spiritual truths! In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 21             Exodus 33-34 ................. Psalms 90-91 .................. 1 Corinthians 3

O Lord!  Help me to hear your voice as Moses did—speak to me as a friend to a friend. If I have found grace in your sight, show me your way that I may know you. Let your presence go before me and give me rest, I pray. You are merciful God, gracious and slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. Keep me in your love.

Let me find favor in your sight for you are my dwelling place. From everlasting to everlasting you are God! The span of my years is but toil and trouble and they will soon be gone and I will fly away! Teach me to number my days so that I may get a heart of wisdom. Let the favor of the Lord be on me. For you are my refuge and my fortress—my God in whom I trust. When I call I know you will answer and when I am in trouble you will rescue me!

Help me to keep my temple clean and holy—a place that the Holy Spirit dwells in. Let not my boast be in man but in you O Lord. For you are a holy God. Holy, holy, holy! In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 22               Exodus 35 ....................... Psalms 92-93 .................. 1 Corinthians 4-5

O Lord! Let my heart be stirred and let me be moved by your Spirit within me that I may contribute to the Lord’s contribution; for you are mighty, O Lord. Help me to have a wise heart and to do the works that the Father has prepared for me before hand. Now stir me up, O Lord, and make my spirit willing to do your will. I offer to you today all that I have.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord. And to sing praises unto his holy name. Let me show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning and your faithfulness at night. Great are your works, O Lord. The Lord reigns and is clothed with majesty and strength. You are everlasting. Your testimonies are very sure. You are most high forevermore.

Help me to be right with you so that when the time comes for all hidden things to be exposed by your light and the purposes of my heart are revealed. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. Clothe me in love and meekness, I pray. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 23               Exodus 36 ....................... Psalms 94-95 .................. 1 Corinthians 6

O Lord! Give me wisdom and understanding to do the work that you have for me. Help me to give in abundance to your house. Let everything I do be after the pattern you have in heaven. May I please you with a willing heart that is stirred to do your will.

Lord you know my thoughts. Now teach me your law so that I may have rest. Cast me not away! When my foot was slipping, your mercy held me up. You, O Lord, are my defense. I will sing unto the Lord. And make a joyful noise to the rock of my salvation. Let me come before your presence today with thanksgiving and with the joyful noise of psalms for you. I will kneel to my maker for he is my God; I am your sheep. Help me to hear your voice today and not harden my heart; but rather to seek you and to seek to enter your rest.

Help me to resolve my differences with others by seeking your justice and not the justice of man. My sins, although they were many, you have washed me, sanctified me, and I am justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of my God. I know that you raised up the Lord, O God, and that you will raise me up on that last day. For my body is a member of Christ. And that being joined to you, O Lord, I am one Spirit with you. For my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. I am not my own for you bought me with a price. Now keep me in your name I pray. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 24               Exodus 37 ....................... Psalms 96-99 .................. 1 Corinthians 7

O Lord! I am thankful that you still sit on the mercy seat! I am thankful that I can still offer my sacrifices of thanks and praise and worship upon the altar of God. I pray today that you will accept the incense of my prayers to you, O God.

I will sing a new song to you, O Lord of all the earth; bless your Holy Name. I will tell of your salvation and declare your glory; and make known all of your glorious works. Great is the Lord! And greatly to be praised. You alone are to be feared. I will give you glory that is due unto your name. The Lord reigns—let the whole earth rejoice! The heaven declare your righteousness. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of my God. I will worship at your footstool for you alone are Holy.

You, O Lord, bought me with a price, I am your servant! Let me abide in the call that you have called me. Now help me to lead the life that you have assigned to me and to which I was called. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 25               Exodus 38 ....................... Psalms 100-101 .............. 1 Corinthians 8-9

O Lord! When I approach you to cleanse my hands and my feet, I pray that I see a reflection of myself; that I see myself as you see me.

I will make a joyful noise to the Lord and serve Him with gladness. I will come into your presence with singing and worship. I will make known your steadfast love and justice; you are my music. I will ponder the way that is blameless and walk with integrity of heart within my house. I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. A perverse heart shall be far from me.  Help me to know no evil; for through you I exist. Help me to glorify your name.

O Lord, I love you God and I am thankful that you know me! There is one God, the Father, and for you I exist; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. Through Him I exist. Help me to become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some! Help me to not run aimlessly the race that you have set before me; but to discipline myself to serve you, O Lord.  In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 26               Exodus 39-40 ................. Psalms 102 ..................... 1 Corinthians 10

O Lord! In one chapter of your word nearly every verse starts with the phrase, “They made.” Help me to be busy as they were—doing the work prepared for me. Then the next chapter many verses started with the phrase, “You shall.” Help me to always listen to your instructions and do them.

Hear my prayer, O Lord, let my cry come to you and do not hide your face from me in my day of distress. Nations fear your name. I fear you Lord. I thank you for your word that has been recorded; for my generation and generations to come will praise you. Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the work of your hand—they will pass away but you will remain forever.

No temptation has overtaken me that is not common to man. You have been faithful O God and have kept me from being tempted beyond my ability to overcome—you are a present help in times of trouble. Thank you for the cup that was your shed blood and for the bread that is your body. Let everything that I do be to the glory of God. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 27               Leviticus 1-2 ................... Psalms 103 ..................... 1 Corinthians 11

O Lord! Let my offering to you be unleavened and mixed with the oil of the Holy Spirit. Let it be salted with the salt of your covenant. With all offerings I will offer salt! Help me to be salted with salt as I offer myself to you.

With all that is within me I bless your holy name. May I never forget your benefits.  Forgive me all my iniquities and heal every disease. Redeem my life from the pit and crown me with your steadfast love and mercy. I will be satisfied with your goodness. Just as my earthly father showed compassion to me, so the Lord shows compassion to me for I fear Him. He is merciful for He remembers that I am but dust. And dust I shall be until the last day!

Lord, help me to imitate you! Christ is the head of me and the head of Christ is God. Help me to remember the work of the cross—the cup that is the new covenant in your blood and the bread that you broke that is your body. Let your blood give me life and let your bread sustain me. Judge me and discipline me so that I will not be condemned with the world. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

Prayer February 28               Leviticus 3-4 ................... Psalms 104 ..................... 1 Corinthians 12-13

O Lord! Help me to keep your statues forever in all of my dwelling places. Never let me sin presumptuously. Keep your blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense—my prayers to you, O Lord God.

Bless the Lord O my soul! Make me a flaming fire. You, O Lord, are clothed with splendor and majesty. You cover yourself with light as with a garment. The clouds are your chariot. You made the moon to mark seasons and the sun knows its time for setting. O Lord, how manifold are your works! In your wisdom you have made them all. I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.

Help me to know that there are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit, varieties of service but the same Lord, varieties of activities but the same God that empowers them all in everyone.
