Now keep me from the snares of men, for I trust in you.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the king of Israel! You are the King of kings. Lord to hate my life in this world is to keep it for eternal life. Thank you for that hope and for drawing me to yourself. I believe in the Light—help me to become a son of light. Now open the gates of my eyes and ears to see and hear what you would have me to see and hear. Now, I ask you to help me to serve you—to follow you. O Lord! Let me never fear man and let me know that it is the Lord my God who fights for me. The battle has already been won! No matter how fortified the walls of sin may seem, you, O Lord, you have devoted it to destruction. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as yours?
What is your name and what is your Son’s name? Surely I know! Jesus—the name above all names! Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Thank you for a safe refuge. Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; but feed me with food that is needful for me. Help me to be clean in your eyes, I pray.

O Lord! Teach me all of your commandments and statutes and rules that I may keep them; so that I can possess the land you are giving me. More than anything, help me to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and my neighbor as myself.
I realize that everything under the sun is vanity except for those things that help me fulfill your purpose in my life. I shall be satisfied with seeing; and my ears will be filled with hearing when I seek seeing and hearing from you, O Lord. It is an unhappy business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with—may I not feel at home in this world; for I seek a city whose builder is God.
I seek eternal life—I must know you the only true God and Jesus Christ that you sent to save me. Keep me in your name, I pray. Sanctify me in truth; your word is truth. Help me to diligently teach my children and my children’s children that you are one! Let my talk, when I sit in my house and when I day down and when I arise, be about you.
A wise man once said that he searched to see what was good for the children of men to do during the few days of their life. To him all was vanity; but to live for you all the days of my life will be great gain. I know that there is more gain in wisdom than in folly—give me your wisdom that I might walk in light. I know that all seems to be vanity; but serving you is what matters in this life and it is not in vain.
Those that crucified you, O Lord, mocked the King of kings by say Hail, king of the Jews, then a few days later they crucified the Lamb of God. Thank you God for giving your Son for my sins. O Lord! You have humbled me and tested me. You know what is in my heart. Let me keep your commandments. I know that I cannot live by bread alone; and that I need every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. You have made everything beautiful in its time. You have put eternity in my heart. It is not in your plan for me to know your ways for they are higher than mine—I cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Your ways are still a mystery to me! But there is nothing better for me to do than to be joyful and to do good as long as I live; for what you have done endures forever, O Lord. Nothing can be added to your word and nothing can be taken away. I fear you O Lord.
Lord, I believe that you died and rose again—thank you for the resurrection and for redemption! After you rose again, you appeared to your disciples. You proclaimed peace to them and told them to receive the Holy Spirit. You prepared breakfast for them on the seashore. Then you told Peter to feed your sheep. Thank you, O God for his obedience; for Peter fed us with the bread of life. In Jesus’ name I thank you for all of this. Amen.

O Lord! Write you statutes on the tablet of my heart with the finger of God that I sin not against you. You are God of gods and Lord of lords—the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who is not partial. So I will fear the Lord my God and serve him and hold fast to him. And by him I will make all of my vows. I will love the Lord my God and keep his charge, his statutes, his rules and his commandments. I will take care lest my heart be deceived. I will not turn aside and serve other gods. I will lay up your words in my heart and I will teach them to my children. May your eyes always be upon me from the beginning of the year to the end of the year—every year of my life.
It is better to have never lived, than to live and do evil. Keep me from evil I pray. Help me work together with others; for you have said that two are better than one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken. May you always be a part of me, O Lord, my strong cord!
Thank you for the resurrection and for your kingdom. May I always be a part of your kingdom. Thank you for appearing to your disciple and instructing them for forty days after your resurrection. O Lord! Keep me from idolatry; for you hate idolatry. Help me that my worship will please you. Let me do what is right in your eyes and not my own. Everything that you command me I will be careful to do. I will not add to it or take away from it. But I will walk after the Lord my God and fear him. And obey his voice and hold fast to him.
Do not let my heart be hasty or my mouth be rash to utter a word before the Lord God. Nor let my mouth lead me into sin. Let my words be few. Do not allow me to love money; for there is no satisfaction in money or great wealth
Thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit—for in these last days you have poured out your Spirit on all flesh. Thank you for the promise that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Thank you for baptism in your name. Now help me to worship you in spirit and in truth. May I always keep my vows to you, O God. Let my giving be in accordance to your word and your will. Help me to obey the voice of the Lord my God, keep his commandments and do what is right in the sight of the Lord.
I know that life is vanity—except the life lived for Christ! May my life not be in vain. You, O Lord, know what is good for me and for the few days of my life—which passes like a shadow. And only you will remember me when I am gone!
Help me to give to others what I do have that you man be glorified and praised. You are the Author of life whom God raised from the dead. I repented and you blotted out my sins. Keep me from wickedness, I pray. For there is salvation in no one else and no other name under heaven given among men by which we can be saved! O Lord! May I never pervert justice nor show partiality nor accept a bribe; but rather let me give righteous judgment. May my worship always please you, O God. Help me that I do nothing that you hate.
I know that there is a time and a way for everything, although man’s trouble lies heavy on him; for he does not know what lies ahead. Power over death and the spirit belong to you O Lord. There is no discharge from this spiritual war nor can I be delivered from wickedness by wickedness. You, deliver me O Lord!
Help me to journey where you tell me to go—to honor your promise. Lead me to Holy Ground, I pray. And let me find favor in your sight, O Lord. When my time comes to die, I pray that you will receive my spirit. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.

The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happens to all of us. May the master of the universe orchestrate my life every day of my life.
O Lord, even thought a devout man was ravaging the early Church, it caused the Gospel to be spread even further. For your apostles proclaimed the good news and the name of Jesus everywhere. Thus many received the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for the spreading of the Gospel and for the Holy Spirit O Lord; and for the hope I have in you. In Jesus’ name I ask all of this. Amen.
